Bottled. A pitch black beer with a brown shine under a lazing tan head. The aroma is sweet malty with strong notes of roasted malt, but also light notes of alcohol. The flavor is sweet malty with ntoes of roasted malt, chocolate, wood, and vanilla.

Medium body with sweetish and burned malts, ashy notes and LOTS of bourbon. Decent finish. Nice all right but lacks some refinement to be truly great. 310507

12 fl oz bottle. Pours dark brown with a fully diminished tan head. Chocolate malty aroma, light spiced. Smooth roasted and liqourice flavour with a nice chocolate and vanilla smoothness. Medium dry and light finish.

Bottled (thanks Papsoe and jjpm74!). Deep brown, close to black, colour, small brown head. Aroma is peat, roasted malts, licorice and hops. Flavour is roasted malts, alcohol, licorice and some mild tobaccoish notes.

Bttled, thanks Cletus! Very black with rich beige head. Aroma of bourbon, chocolate and coffee. Medium-full bodied with rounded mouthfeel. Flavour remains vanilla, coffee and bourbon. Finishes with medium bitterness. All you expect from a Bourbon Barrel Imperial Stout, neither more nor less.
