Sampled from a growler from the brewery, source unknown. Pours a dark brown color with a medium sized creamy tan head. Good head retention and lacing. The aroma is dominated by bitter roasted coffee notes, but some chocolate and caramel make it through. The taste is roasted malts, chocolate, bitter hops, bitter coffee, faint caramel and a milky note. Medium bodied. Nice beer.
