This bottled brew from a rating party poured a head of bubbles that was fully diminished and left behind a transparent uncarbonated orange colored body. The aroma was floral mild malt and caramel malt. The mouth feel was weakly tingly at the start mediumly tingly at the finish mild vinous hop aftertaste. The flavor contained notes of mildly vinous carmelized cany. Delicious and one I would certainly like to try again.

Not very complex, but tasty and relaxing. It pours a thick, golden-amber body with a few bubbles in lieu of a head. The aroma is a light malt with the subtle scent of sweet cherries and a whiff of alcohol. This is very much like drinking a thick wine. The flavor is a sharp sweet malt with light juicy fruits, white peppers, and a notable alcohol presence. It finishes on a quietly sweet malt taste with a low alcohol burn. Nice.

Shared by bgburdman at the last Columbus tasting. Light golden in color with a spicey and sweet aroma. The taste was light, and fairly sweet--less flavor than I got from the nose. Fairly thick mouthfeel.

Thanks to kmpitz2 for the trade... As I popped the cap, this one foamed all over richlikebeer’s pants and egajdzis’ motel floor. Appears a hazy gold with a 2 finger, fizzy white head that slowly fades out. Scattered bits of chunky lacing are left around the glass. Smell is lemony, citrusy orange, and a touch of vanilla with some spicy yeast in the background. Taste is of the aromas but toned down a notch. There are also hints of juicy red apples mixed in the flavors. Mouthfeel is medium bodied, chewy, with vanilla, and orange bitterness lingering.

KSBF 2006 RB after party. Pours a hazy golden, dark orange with a creamy white head. Aroma was very fruity, yeast, vanilla, peppery. Flavor of yeast Belgian spices, pilsner malts, fruit and peppery.

Bottle. Poured a deeper golden / orange color with an averaged sized white head. Aromas of fruits (apples / bananas), spices, and some citrus. Tastes of fruits, spices, citrus and a little bready. Some alcohol in the finish (but I wouldn’t have guessed 11%).

Bottle. No head, no lacing, transparent, no visible carbonation, and a orange yellow hue. Nose was sweet, alcohol, fruity, some sugariness, citrus, and spicy. Flavor was sweet, vinuous, fruity, citrus, and spicy. Tingly mouthfeel. Not particularly impressed wth this one as it just didn’t seem to come together. Kind of mumble jumble.

From the Columbus tasting, shared by bgburdman. Golden pour with a a small white head. The aroma has a fair amount of spice, lemon zest, yeast...a bit medicinal. Flvor was citrusy and bready. Full bodied and a bit syrupy over the palate..dry warming finish.
