Wine-like esters. Full bodied, rich and sweet, one of the nicer tripels I've tried. Thick sugar and somewhat tart on the tongue. SledgeJr (2960), Omaha, Nebraska, USA
| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Dec 8, 2005 On tap at the brewpub. Cloudy yellow with a fine white head. Very candy-like. Has an aroma much like bananas foster. Seems true to style with many different flavors to pick out of this: peaches, honey, apricot. Mid-palate hops appear. This seems so strong that you could sterilize a wound with it. Ibrew2or3 (2734), Safety Harbor, Florida, USA

Yum, raisins, plums, apricots and blunted spices. The taste brings up fruity sweetness, Belgian candi sugar and tasty yeasty spices. Thick brew yet smooth and mellowed. It has aged very well at only a year old. Feels and tastes like a 4 year old vintage beer. wetherel (1591), Encinitas, California, USA

Thanks to stefanje, lagunitasfan, weeheavysd, fordest, wetherel, alohac and of course toncatcher for suppling the house and grub. I thought this was wierd for a triple, but still loved it. Lots of appricot, pears, and apples detected. Was missing the typical cloves and pepper I am used to in a triple. shrubber85 (2886), Wallhalben, Germany
