Special nitro version on draft at Liquor Barn Springhurst, don’t know if this is the right ESB but I know this is the BBC ESB, just the nitro version. Pour is light golden amber with a huge cascade of nitro bubbles. Aroma is faint but of light malts with hints of earthy hops. Flavor is light and creamy, with flavors of light and bready malts and a slight earthy hop flavor. A little watery, but not bad.

Got the BBC ESB on tap two nights ago, so I am assuming it was this. On tap at the brewhouse. Copper body with a mediocre foamy white head.Aroma of pale malt, amber malt, and some piney hops. Relatively weak overall. The flavor was very displeasing. Starts hoppy with a dry finish then turns fruity then astringent and chemically. Medium body and carbonation. Overall: a pretty big mess that I will not be getting again. As of my last few visits, BBC has really really lost it. They never really had greatness, but they made solid beers that put these recent batched to shame.

Pours orangish amber with a mostly receding off white head. Aroma of woody pines, mango, and figs. Taste is hoppy, piney, fruity with notes of pineapple, and resinous toffee. Mouthfeel is medium to full bodied and resinous with smooth carbonation.
