COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
BBC Nut Brown Ale has a diverse grain bill which lends this traditional English ale a variety of flavors that coalesce into a remarkably smooth and pleasant drink. Additions of various pale, caramel and dark malts create a smooth, sweet malt profile with hints of roasted nuttiness. Multiple additions of English hops round out the flavors and give this classic beer a true flavor of the Old World.

12oz bottle, thanks to Thunder. Somewhat hazy brown / red color, minimal off-white head. A bit more sharp, moderate carbonation. Decent mild chocolate nutty malt aroma, with a more sweet taste. Some caramel in there. Ok, but Im not really a huge fan.

Hazy amber with a full off-white head and good lacing. Taste is heavy with sweet caramel and hazelnut malt. It is a big brown ale that is a tad filling, leaving a coating on the tongue. Decent, but not one to seek out.

12oz bottle into a pint glass. Pours a slightly hazy dark brown with a 1 finger tan head. Decent retention. Smells very nutty along with coffee and roasted malt. Some caramel as well. The taste is roasted malt along with a very prominent nuttiness. There are some coffee and caramel notes in the background along with a pleasing hoppiness. Mouthfeel is a tad bit watery but ok. Overall this is a very solid brown ale and one that I would seek out.

12 ounce. Brown and fairly chocolate. Little roast. Medium body. Taste fades a bit with time into something fairly common.

12 ounce bottle from preismj that pours a dark brown with a thin white head. Has a hazelnut and a hint of malt aroma wuaffing from the glass. Has a caramel, and nut flavor with a small bitterness aftertaste which is refreshing.

I enjoy this nut brown. The beer is very flavorful and bold. It is easy to drink, but comes off as fresh and alive.

This is a pretty nice looking beer w/ its slightly cloudy brown color and small head of evenly sized bubbles. The nose is mildly roast w/ some caramel and fruity apple notes. The flavor is mild and drinkable, just a touch of darker malts and roast, medium dry w/ brisk carbonation. It is decently balanced though I feel it would benefit if the carbonation was toned down a hair. Decent enough brew but it is neither perfectly executed nor particularly flavorful so Id say its just a bit above average for the style.
