COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
BBC Nut Brown Ale has a diverse grain bill which lends this traditional English ale a variety of flavors that coalesce into a remarkably smooth and pleasant drink. Additions of various pale, caramel and dark malts create a smooth, sweet malt profile with hints of roasted nuttiness. Multiple additions of English hops round out the flavors and give this classic beer a true flavor of the Old World.

Pretty good brown ale. Like the roundness and nuttiness, delicate mix of caramel, faint roast and chocolate, the stronger than expected hops are nice to but certainly don’t seem to age that well. quite well balanced otherwise. thinner with nice carbonation and very drinkable.

12 oz bottle, notched to show a bottle don date of April 2013, served in a snifter. Hazy dark reddish brown body; small partial head despie a vigouous pour, and most of this is soon gone. Aroma: about spot on for style, with a nice bit of nutty roasted grains as well as sweet malts and toffee. Flavor: largely follows the aroma, but is a bit sweeter than expected. Feel: light body is a bit too thin. Smooth.
