On tap at brewhouse. Good clear copper body with a descent white head that unfortunately didn’t leave much lace. Aroma: pale malt, pine/resinous hops, oak. Flavor is great soft but robust resinous hops with a nice oak character (vanilla) in the BG. Almost a caskish character as far as the wood goes. The 7.1 abv shines through pretty strongly though. Medium body and medium carbonation. Overall: a nice experiment that I enjoyed quite a bit.

Draft at the brewpub. Pours dark copper orange with some white head. Honestly, I’m not getting anything in the nose. I could be this lame glass they served it in. The flavor on the other hand is pretty good. The oak barrel is blanded well with the hops. Medium body and avarage carbonation. I like this one.
