Freshly-juiced citrus, graham cracker and slight hop aroma. Flavor offered subtle continuation of orange hints and a medium-bodied wheat fullness. Assertive grassy hop finish. Fresh cask appearance -- thick, foamy, lasting head.

cask-conditioned: Dulled copper. Thick, puffy off-white head with microscopic bubbles lethargically surfacing. Fragrant aroma of pie crust, perfume, and orange zest. Lightly husky and sweetly bready with hints of nuts and marmalade. Lush and creamy mouthfeel. Understatedly spicy and piney with a blast of orange rind bitterness. Blanket of sweet bready malts cover the palate and anchor the staunch bitterness. Faint graham sweetness and flower petal smoothness. Well-rounded fruity acidity sparks a bready malt surge with a buttered caramel, salt, and spicy anise underpinning. Tinge of mandarin orange softens the high-alpha hop impact. Savory finish of lightly nutty, heavily toasted malt flavors masterfully blended with orange zest and firm hop bitterness, which lasts well beyond the swallow. Splendid stuff, here, and superbly balanced.
