Commercial Description:
Rye 75 is a tribute to our friends along Interstate 75. The malty sweetness extracted from Canadian pale ale and French caramel malt is balanced by the spicy flavor of German rye malt which composes 30% of the grist bill. In addition to its big malt profile Rye 75 has an assertive dose of American Cascade and Columbus hops lending a citrusy and floral flavor and aroma. This beer has been dry hopped in the keg with more Cascade hops for even greater hop aroma.

A dark rye in color, beautiful. Aroma is woodsy. Flavor is very common of the midwest stye of hopping. I loved it. Good job BBC.

750 shared with friends. Nice slightly hazy copper color with a descent white head that faded kind of quickly and didn’t leave much lace. Sweet malt and some fruity hops. Flavor is the same. Basic, but very solid. Medium bitter finish. Medium body with smooth light carbonation. Overall: worth a try.

Pours dark amber with a small, fully receding tan head. Notes of spicy citrus hops, dark toasted malts, caramel, nuts, and hop resins. Medium to full bodied with moderate carbonation.

Pours amber with an off white head. Aroma is citrusy slightly minty, piny hop (it was ran through a fresh hoppper/randall the enamel animal type thing so it may be different). Flavor is nice citrusy simcoe hop flavor, with a hint of spiciness from the rye, very good.

Cask Stillage from the Jug at the GABF, Colorado Convention Center 26/09/2009 Hop and fruit aromas. Bronze golden coloured smooth on the palate and hoppy with a little dryness in a crisp and bitter floral finish.

750ml foil and capped. Lightly clouded oranagish amber color with little head. Sweet bready malt, earthy peach hops, pick up some rye down in there. Kind of creamy and flat on the palate. Sharp bittering up front and in the finish. Some earthy hop resin in the middle. I do also get some rye in the finish. I like the idea here, but this isn’t really up my alley. Thanks Tom!

I always like being one of the first to rate a beer. Just feels like victory. Great looking amber pour with pleasant carbonation. Little head. Lightly sweet aroma with a rye spice to it. Nice flavor for the most part. Plenty of rye on top of pine/resinous hops that are ample. It’s really a pleasant blend of rye spice and forward hops. The mouth feel is dry and body medium but very clean. Crisp and bright. A well put together Rye PA.

On tap at the GTMW. Hazy amber with a lacy beige head. Aroma of rye, citrus, pine and earthy hops. Taste of heavy rye, pine, citrus and sweet malt, nice and balanced with moderate hop bitterness. Solid IPA.
