Nice slightly hazy copper color with a descent white head that faded kind of quickly and didn’t leave much lace. Sweet malt and some fruity hops. Flavor is the same. Basic, but very solid. Medium bitter finish. Medium body with smooth light carbonation. Overall: worth a try. TheBeerOrg (1595), Kentucky, USA

Aroma is citrusy slightly minty, piny hop (it was ran through a fresh hoppper/randall the enamel animal type thing so it may be different). Flavor is nice citrusy simcoe hop flavor, with a hint of spiciness from the rye, very good. DJMonarch (6941), Northwich, Cheshire, England

Sweet bready malt, earthy peach hops, pick up some rye down in there. Kind of creamy and flat on the palate. Sharp bittering up front and in the finish. Some earthy hop resin in the middle. I do also get some rye in the finish. I like the idea here, but this isn’t really up my alley. Thanks Tom! after4ever (2859), Brier, Washington, USA

| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Sep 13, 2009 I always like being one of the first to rate a beer. Just feels like victory. Great looking amber pour with pleasant carbonation. Little head. Lightly sweet aroma with a rye spice to it. Nice flavor for the most part. Plenty of rye on top of pine/resinous hops that are ample. It’s really a pleasant blend of rye spice and forward hops. The mouth feel is dry and body medium but very clean. Crisp and bright. A well put together Rye PA. esjaygee (1600), Oak Creek, Wisconsin, USA
