2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
This poured a dark golden color with a white head. The aroma is citrus, herbs, and a bit of fail. The flavor contains some brown sugar, citrus, and corn. This is a crappy saison. KY stick to burbon!

Crushed with Honkeybra. A little sweetness and kind of grassy nose with a bit of funk. Very smooth beer. Nice flavor with a nice sweet, almost honey-like flavor. Very sessionable. It’s aight.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
12 oz. Orange-amber with a small, sugary head. Bready, sweet aroma with a touch of citrus peel, clove, and a hint of earthy wood and must. Flavor is sweeter, with a spicy cinnamon, wood, and citrus finish. Medium body is well-balanced and quite spice-tingly.

Draft sample. Poured hazy yellow orange color with an average fizzy white head that was mostly lasting with good lacing. Medium yeasty citrus, spice aroma. Medium body with soft carbonation and sticky texture. Medium sweet flavor with a medium sweet finish of moderate duration.

I know we’re not supposed to rate to style here, and I’m cool with that. But when I see the word "saison" on a beer label, it raises certain...expectations. If this were called an amber, for example, I would’ve considered it a pleasant surprise, and possibly scored it higher. But as a saison...not so much. The is some of the spiciness I was looking for, but none of the funkiness. As I drank more, I did enjoy it,

2.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
poured bottle in trappist glass and it’s a deep and clear orange with light off-white head. light effervescence. Aroma is malty and yeasty. Not much character (I remember the one on tap at Molly Malone’s being way more flavorful). Taste is slightly sweet. Aftertaste is a bit skunky.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Served on draft at Beer Run in Charlottesville, VA. Pours a clear golden color with a medium sized creamy head. Good head retention and lacing. Citrusy aroma with bready malts and a faint bit of cinnamon and clove. The taste is pale bready malts, citrus, plum, other fruity notes and a peppery hop finish. Medium bodied. Nice beer.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20
Tried this at a local art festival. I am under the opinion that it is new. Aroma of lemongrass, banana and citrus. Appearance was translucent gold with white head. Flavor matched the nose, which really resembled a hefeweizen for me. Palate was creamy and bubbly. Not bad, though I am not so sure this is truly a Saison.
