Bottle at Maltzilla’s tasting. Pours medium brown color with tan head. Smoked meat aroma. Moderately smokey flavor, not too overpowering like some smoked beers. Medium body with moderate carbonation.

Aroma of campfire, beechwood, sweet caramel malt-harshly smoked. Appearance is cola with tan head. Flavor subdues the malt sweetness, but otherwise matches the nose- also a touch of cloves. Palate is creamy. Could be nice with some cellar time.

Sampled on tap at the brewpub. This brew is pretty unique. The appearance is a medium brown. The aromas mild with smoke and malts. A load of smoked Gouda really dominates the taste buds in this beast. Very interesting. I’m not sure if I could drink too much of this but I could see it growing on you.
