Drat. Major league drop in quality from brewery to resturant. Murky orange with a tiny white head. cent of clove. Sweet grainy taste, thin.

On tap at 3rd and main brewpub. Pours hazy yellow with medium white head. A little lacing and medium body. Taste is wheat with significant bitter hop finish.

On tap at St Matthews brewpub. Really hazy yellow with minimal white head. Flavor and aroma were dominated by a cereal character with a hint of wheat in there. Not the best wheat ale, but not bad.

Draft. Light hazy yellow below a fizzy white head. Quickly diminishing. Light aroma of banana and lacquer. The flavor is lightly sweet and lightly bitter. It finishes lightly sweet and lightly to moderately bitter. Heavy on malts with a taste of solvent. Not enjoyable.

BlackDonald (1127) - Boise, Idaho, USA - JUL 31, 2008
Pours a golden honey color with the lightest ring of white foam. Kind of a sour, grainy nose with just the lightest hint of spice and citrus. Husky malt body, kind of unbalanced. This beer is just merely alright.

Tap at brewpub: Murky gold with no head. Corny aroma. Light and refreshing. It isn’t too bad for the style, but it wasn’t really something I had a desire to finish.

Clear yellow with thin white head. Aroma if lemon and sweet malt. Taste of corn, light wheat. Kind if reminds me more of an American lager than a wheat ale. Not a good starter to the seven sampler I just bought.

On tap at BBC, 8/15/07. Hazy cloudy gold, short white head, not much lacing. Citrus and peppery spice aroma, some herbal notes. Taste was medium bodied and finished with a citrus zing. Very nice in the hot weather, and recommended to Carole and Hank - co-workers I dragged along to the brewpub - they liked it a bunch

on tap at BBC 4th street. cloudy.....i mean cloudy as hell...there was sediment......uhhh...er sumthin at the bottom of the glass when i finished it. it looked like orange juice...it had a damn orange slice on it too. aroma?......uhh german lager......uhh flavor?....german lager? bitter dry grassy finish. light body. lively carbonation. it tases and smells like a crappy bitter dry german lager. i couldnt find anything wheaty about it. I almost didnt rate it because i think i got the bottom of the barrel.......or maybe they just moved it........but everyone else around the place was drinking them and they all looked the same. either this was a really bad batch...or they decided to shake the hell out of the keg and see what happens.....either way they should know better than to serve it.
