Draft at St. Matthews. Poured clear copper color with an average fizzy off-white head that mostly diminished with fair lacing. Moderate complex toasted sweet malt and earthy aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Moderate toasted malt sweet flavor with a medium sweet finish of moderate duration. Solid drinkable beer.

I put this in as a specialty malt because RB (for some god-knows-what reason doesnt have maibock, or even bock for that matter, as a style... which is what this beer is listed as at the brewpub). Anyways, I had it on tap at the brewpub. Here we go. Copper body with a small not too long lasting white head. The beer smells good, but the flavor is just a bitt off with the rye/wheat character. Not much else to say... descent, but just a bit off on the whole.
