COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This Dortmunder style beer was originally brewed in the area around the city of Dortmund in western Germay. It is a full bodied pale lager that falls beteen the dryness of a German Pilsner and the sweet maltiness of Munich Helles. Brewed with imported German Pilsner malt, Northern Brewer and Hallertau hops. Finished with a late kettle addition of Spalter Select.

ed as "IsaDorta" at the brewpub. posting my rating here until i find out if it is a new name or a new beer. Tap. Dark gold body and a thin white head. Slight hop note in the nose. Light citrus flavor. Finish is some orange marmalade and whipping cream, but finishes a lot drier than that would make it seem. Ap-4 ar-6 tas-7 pal-4 ov-16

Draft at brewpub. Clear golden pour with an average frothy white head that mostly diminished with fair lacing. Moderate toasted malt aroma. Medium body with a slick texture and soft carbonation. Balanced bitter sweet flavor with a moderate finish. Drinkable, but not a standout brew.

UPDATED: SEP 15, 2007 Pours dark golden with a nice fluffy off-white head. Aroma of herbal hops, bready lager yeast. Taste is grassy, lightly resinous, and grainy. Mouthfeel is full bodied, lightly resinous, with lively carbonation. Nice, but a bit too bitter without enough herbal hoppiness.
