3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 MadRobin (998) - Silver Spring, USA - DEC 19, 2012
On tap 4 oz. pour at Meridian Pint in Columbia Heights, Washington, DC.
Clear, straw-yellow with small off-white head and excellent lacing.
Aroma if bread, roasted malt, biscuit malt, lemon, horse blanket and light smoke.
Taste of bread, spice, wet straw and light smoke.
Medium/light body and medium carbonation.
A fine mildly smoked beer. Not robust enough to hold its own against a burger and catsup, but fine on its own.

Tap. Light clearish orange yellow with a white head. Some citrus, fatty smoked meat that’s fairly light, some grains in the aroma as well. Not overwhelmingly smoky, some burnt toast, and a slight sweetness. Lighter body. Strange brew.
3.8 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 climberbob (73) - Virginia, USA - OCT 10, 2012
Draft. Golden yellow, nice subtle smokey aroma. Taste is almost like a smoked heffeweizen. I am not a hop fan and did not think it was particularly hoppy. Nice beer, but not what I was expecting when I ordered it.
3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 blipp (4784) - Newark, New Jersey, USA - OCT 6, 2012
Draft. Pours hazy gold with a white head. Light smoky malts up front, followed by some weird herbal and lemony notes, a light sweetness, and a very wheaty finish. An odd one, comes close to being really good, but not quite.

Appearance: Pours a yellow cloud.
Aroma: Aroma is of faint smoke, wheat malt.
Taste: Wheat, faint citrus, hint of smoke.
