30th July 2011>br>ChrisOs ’Donkey Dork Lord’ Pre-GBBF Tasting. Hazy dark amber beer. Good pale tan head. Light very fruity palate. Tangy fruit - apple. Ok malt background. Fruity finish with some minerals. A little too much apple.

Bottle at Chris O’s pre GBBF shindig, 2011. Amber pour with a beige head. Caramel and light herb aroma. Fruity citrus flavour. Dull.

Bottle at chriso’s Pre-GBBF Shindig ’11. It pours amber with a massive foamy white head and low carbonation. The nose is lots and lots of celery (off-putting to say the least) and some caramel. The taste is leather, wood, hay, grass, biscuit, cardboard and plastic, with a bitter-dry finish. Not for me.

Bottle at ChrisO’s Pre-GBBF Shindig 2011. Slightly cloudy, copper pour. Malty nose, some caramel hints. Sweetish flavor, some toffee and caramel. Medium in body with fine carbonation. Sugar in the finish with some toasted malts. Alright.

At chriso’s Pre-GBBF Shindig ’11. Brown, with some sediment. A hint of pear in the aroma. Grassy taste with some elderflower. Sharp bitter finish. Particularly good after several European lagers.

Cask at NWAF, Manchester 21.01.11 Pours dark amber, good clarity, loads of caramel, toffee and sweetness abounds. I find this fine if a bit chewy at times. A6 A5 T6 P3 Ov12 3.2
