Clear medium yellow amber color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, nutty, honey, light to moderate yeasty. Flavor is moderate to light light heavy sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is watery to oily, carbonation is soft. [20090808]

Amber color, small creamy white head. Fruity, perfumic aroma. Citrusy hoppy, a bit woody flavor. Dry aftertaste. Long citrus peel flavor in the aftertaste.

May 20, 2007 Cask conditioned - handpump - Malt Shovel Northampton. A ruby hued beer with an aroma full of berry fruits and malts. The taste is intensely fruity (possibly too much) Interesting but the fruit is perhaps too sharp.

Feb 10, 2007 Cask@Burton 12th Winter Beer Festival. Brown beer with a smokey and coffee based aroma. The flavour is fruity and slightly bitter. Overall an OK malty and mildly dry beer.
