1.6 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20 Davros (1021) - Melbourne, - JAN 20, 2012
Pours dark amber with a large, suddy, fading head.
Nose shows floral hops, sweet vegetal notes and little else. Faint caramel.
Similar overly sweet flavours, more vegetal notes dominating and big corn notes. Very little bitterness. Cloying.
Could use more carbonation to help dry things out a bite. Very watery.
1.8 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20 GT2 (3953) - Washington DC, USA - NOV 20, 2010
Tap at Retreat in Melbourne. Pour is typical macro: wildly fizzy yellow to straw with a detergent, white head. Pretty good suddy lace. Aroma is air freshener, maize, detergent. Taste is less soapy than Pure Blonde with some attempt at malty fullness. Still a wildy suddy, watery, soapy palate that seems the norm with Australian macro lager. Nothing offensive here.

2.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 5/20 BarossaLuke (437) - AUSTRALIA - OCT 29, 2009
Pretty ordinary stuff here. No hop or malt aroma and same in the mouth. Made to be inoffensive and it is. My friend summed it up best when he said with all sincerity, "This stuff is great, goes down like water."
Say no more really...

Bottled, 375ml, pasteurised at The Koko International Bar, York. Pale gold with white head. Fairly standard thin lager beer, slightly sour on the palate but with a touch of sweetness on the close. Heavy carbonation.
2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20 mkel07 (1806) - Brisbane, AUSTRALIA - SEP 12, 2009
375ml bottle. Clear and sparkling with a soft white foam head and amber colour. No aroma to speak of and no real flavour.
2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 6/20 johninmelb (748) - Bristol, Gloucestershire, ENGLAND - APR 30, 2009
LIghtly sweet nose with a sharp underpin. Pours like any Aussie macro lager. For what it is, the flavour starts ok, but as it develops the unpleasant qualities come through. Sour, cloying malt, watery mouthfeel, unpleasant uriney finish (not that I know what that tastes like etc etc). Perhaps not disappointing so much as ’met expectations’.
1.4 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 4/20 TheGrandMaster (2313) - Auckland, NEW ZEALAND - DEC 23, 2008
Draught. A sweet grainy malt aroma. Thin mouthfeel, sweet malt, short minerally finish. I am not sure whether it being served ridiculously cold was a blessing or not?
0.6 AROMA 1/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 1/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 2/20 nate2g (1548) - Marlborough, NEW ZEALAND - DEC 20, 2008
Another low carb beer to mislead the masses. Pale yellow, small head. Grainy and skunky aroma. Nothing in the flavour. Light bodied with a fizzy finish. This is a really bad beer.
