COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A traditional full flavoured draught beer, master brewed using a blend of crystal malts and a unique brewing method, which impart a rich, malty character to balance the hop bitterness.

Fullest flavoured light I have ever tasted, rgeardless of what you yuppies reckon. The stuff is actually made by splitting a batch of draught in tow, driving the alchohol off one half, then mixing it back together, keeping much of its flavour. Not in the same league as the premo lights of any type, but way ahead of any other aussie well-priced light beer.

Yeah, after buying this one I remembered that when Aussies call a beer "light" they REALLY mean it (in Canada our light beers are still 4%!). I actually like Boag’s Draught, but this is a faint shadow of itself. No surprises here.

Thank god they have stopped making this stuff. It was why so many people hated light beer. Watery crap I agree with Jahills it smells and tastes like a mouldy old fart. cheers

UPDATED: FEB 9, 2006 I think they’ve stopped producing this stuff and probably a good thing too. Pubs in northern Tassie are preferring Bopags Premium Light on tap than this filth. It won’t be missed. RERATE: They’ve started producing this again, but under the name of Boags Draught Light as compared to Boags Light Draught (confused?). Now comes in exactly the samne looking stubby or can as Boags Draught except for the word Light in the middle. Actually tastes OK and very similar to the full strength version. Tried it in Tassie the other day (Feb 7 2006). Not sure if it’s available on the mainland.

Smells light a mouldy old fart, doesnt taste much better. Only drank it coz it was a leftover in the fridge. Tastes stale, flat and nothing like a good beer. Get Cascade Premium light instead any day of the week.
