COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A European style lager brewed from the finest quality pilsner malts. This beer is fermented at a lower temperature than most Australian lagers, and employs an extended maturation period. These combine together with a mixture of kettle and late hopping to yield a crisp pale lager

UPDATED: DEC 11, 2006 Bottle. Clean and crisp, with some slight metallic edges, thin, watery body. Pretty good as far as pale lagers go, but still nothing much going on.

A half step above your typical mass market lager.

Another watery, boring American Standard. Slight notes of skunk are the only thing I could decipher. Not as premium as is claimed.

a bit watery, but aren’t all aussie ’premium’ beers? could do with more bitterness to finish but not too bad if you’re after a crisp easy to drink lager

Nice hint of honey in the first taste but after that, it’s just a refreshing light drink, then again so is water. But this’ll get you drunk.

Crisp and dry - reminiscent of a Japanese beer. I bought it just because I thought it’d be fun to drink a Tasmanian beer. An OK American Stardard.

Not much going on with this one. A typical run of the mill lager. A bit below average actually. Certainly not on my ’I need to try that one again’ list.

Quite a sweet lager - not always a bad thing. I prefer the drier beers with an flavour that stays in the mouth for a while.
