A European style lager brewed from the finest quality pilsner malts. This beer is fermented at a lower temperature than most Australian lagers, and employs an extended maturation period. These combine together with a mixture of kettle and late hopping to yield a crisp pale lager

Bottle. Pours a straw like yellow colour with minimal head. Aroma- Aroma mainly of sweet corn. Taste-Nothing to special here, but compared to other lagers it’s quite decent, i can taste mainly corn with some banana flavours as well, followed by some slight bitterness. Palate- This beer is pleasing on the Palate. Overall- This is a decent lager but an average beer, good to buy when it’s on special.

Mass market lager, not much else really needs to be said. Hahn premium lager is miles better than this.

Bottle. It's macro lager crap, but it's probably the best macro lager crap in Australia. I'm not going to bother intellectualising it.

From a bottle. It’s one of the better offerings at most bars, it’s well balanced hop and malt flavours make it worth a go.

Another lager that pours a clear golden color and a couple of fingers of white head quickly settling down. Malty and grainy aroma is followed by light taste, sweet start and hardly any bitterness in the taste. Not bad, but nothing special.

Malty yet nicely crisp and hopped. Medium bodied and slightly creamy smooth texture. Skunky aroma. Clean and easy drinking. Surprisingly nice lager. Carbonation is moderate and there are no lingering displeasing flavors.

Ins Glas ergießt sich ein goldgelbes Bier mit geringer Schaumkrone. Geruch leicht malzig, muffig, getreidig. Geschmack wässrig malzig, getreidig.

OLD NOTES MAR 4, 2004 A very crisp, sweet flavoured beer. Quite light but as far as macro Aussie lager/pilsner style beers there’s not too many better.

Bottle, 0.375l. Clear golden color with medium frothy white head and sparkling appearance. Aroma is grainy, grassy, vegetably and bready. Taste starts with light sweet and sour grainy malt, follows by mild citric and yeasty acidity, crisp and dry mouthfeel and light bitter finish. Light body, thin texture and lively carbonation in palate. Classic lager taste without any premium features...
