Pours a clear yellow golden with a medium frothy white head that lasts awhile leaving sticky lacing along the glass. The aroma is a skunky corn malt and grain. Thin mouthfeel with a light malt with grain and corn. Not much going on with this pale lager from Boag.

Typical pale lager in every respect, none of the major flaws of some of the crappier examples of the style but nothing that leaps out either. Pretty much a yawner. crhensel (30), New Jersey, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Dec 31, 2009 (Bottle poured into dimpled mug) Had a nice clear gold color, with a slightly sweet aroma with a hint of spice. Felt smooth, but there was a very lively carbonation to the beer, something that surprised me looking at the pour. Refreshing drink, but a slightly bitter aftertaste which was also surprising given the aroma. There was nothing wrong with the flavor and it was very refreshing, but I would not go out of my way to grab this one again. Beershine (2754), Traipsing Around, China
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Dec 18, 2009 Bottle acquired in Phnom Penh. Bright yellow-gold. Small head. Nice fresh grain aroma balanced by grassy hop. Clean palate with soft carbonation. Balanced flavors, definitely more refined than a macro swill. Unpretentious, easy-drinking quality with a sweet flavor profile. zach8270 (2145), Henrietta, New York, USA
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Dec 6, 2009 (bottle - 375 ml) Clear gold with a fizzy white head. Aroma is dry and grassy with some bitter hops and corn. Flavor is bitter and sweet at the start. A lot of grass and hay with stale hops and an odd corn sweetness. Mildly refreshing. mar (1981), Dallas, Texas, USA

Grains and grass in the nose. The taste was pretty unremarkable, with light hopping and grass notes throughout. Sweet and light in body. Not very memorable or good.
