COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A European style lager brewed from the finest quality pilsner malts. This beer is fermented at a lower temperature than most Australian lagers, and employs an extended maturation period. These combine together with a mixture of kettle and late hopping to yield a crisp pale lager

Pours a spritzy darkish golden colour with frothy white head. Aroma of toasted malt and some herb grass hops. Palate is quite nice and rounded with some typical POR bitterness and flavour characteristics. A finishes quite sweet with evidence of dms.

Mass market lager, not much else to say, blends with the rest. Thirst quenching ability is saving grace.

Golden, very clear, nice good looking head. Watery, light bitter, slightest if yeast character. Low bitterness. Not bad actually for what it is. (Bottle from Saveur Bière)

9.2.2015. Pours golden with white head. Aroma and taste have some grain, grass and light malts and hops. Basic stuff.

When I used to drink just lagers I found this to be above the average aussie mainstream. Now after trying more beer styles and going back to Boags it is pretty pedestrian. Too sweet, not much flavour but ok on a hot day.

375ml bottle. Clears golden with a medium head. Slightly sweet nose. Refreshing aroma, good hops, a bit of malts, not boring indeed.

Best Australian Beer on the market! Smooth, consistent, almost equal to Bavarian beers in quality!

330ml bottle (Aussie Backpackers Pub, Riga). Clear golden colour. Small size, white head, stays. Hop extract, sweet, corny aroma. Smells like proper low-quality macro. Hop extract, corny, papery taste. Not good. Never again!

It?s an ok - no flaws or off flavours. Hop bitterness but no aroma or flavour, a trace of malt flavour. I hear there?s 30% sugar used for the dry finish. Little bitterness, easy drinking. Easy to knock back, just don?t expect any flavour.

375ml bottle into schooner glass. Barely discernable malt nose. Yellow/amber with lasting white head. Nice maltiness up front. Very little bitterness at the end. Much better than other Aussie mainstream lagers.

Bottle - pours gold with short lived head. Aroma is sweet malt, bit biscuity. Taste s sweet up front the a lingering transition to a dry finish. Medium palate. Sessionable.
