A European style lager brewed from the finest quality pilsner malts. This beer is fermented at a lower temperature than most Australian lagers, and employs an extended maturation period. These combine together with a mixture of kettle and late hopping to yield a crisp pale lager

Pours a spritzy darkish golden colour with frothy white head. Aroma of toasted malt and some herb grass hops. Palate is quite nice and rounded with some typical POR bitterness and flavour characteristics. A finishes quite sweet with evidence of dms.

Bottle on Manly Fast Ferry. Paired with a bag of original thins, which works.Green colour as I am drinking from the bottle. Could be worse for its style. Fairly refreshing, at least some hoppy taste, pleasant carbonation. Ultimately tastes of very little though.

(bottle) clear golden colour with a frothy white head. aroma of marzipan, straw and green apple, with some notes of bread dough and lemon peel. flavour is mostly hay and marzipan, slightly meaty, with a hint of powdered sugar and a slightly starchy semi-dry finish. light- to medium-bodied with average carbonation.

Bottle. Clear fizzy yellow body. Grassy notes in the aroma and flavor, fairly clean and no off-flavors. Slight mineral note, and overall inoffensive. I drank like 7 of these sitting on the beach in mid-winter NSW somewhere. It did the job.

Grain and light spice aroma. Clear golden body with about an inch of pure white head. Has smooth light grain and malt taste. Light corn sweetness. Pleasant and refreshing. Light bodied. Clean crisp wet finish. Good one for everyday refreshment.

Clear golden color with a small white head. Cereal malt, mild skunky hops and some dryness in the aroma and flavor. Typical lager with some hoppy notes.

Bottle. Decent appearance, pale yellow, white head. Grainy cereal aroma. Flavor is bland but fine for the crappy style, smooth with mild sweetness and slight bitterness. Light as shit, fizzy. For FYB it could be worse.

(Boag’s Premium Lager) Bottle 375 ml at home, served into a glass tankard, ABV 5% Bright golden yellow colour on the body wth a tall and soapy white head on top of it, with average retention, leaving heavy lacing behind. Sweet aroma, malts, corn, cardboard, adjuncts. Weird taste, kind of fruity, jelly, malts, hay. Thin body, even watery, carbonation on good levels. Slowly it grew on me, I wouldn’t mind it in a hot day.
