Bhops (182), Dallas, Texas, USA Apr 19, 2008 not just a light beer, but a PREMIUM light. this beer was sufficient for it’s purpose, which was to refresh. Otherwise, little to no taste
thesimmos (13), Brisbane, Australia May 1, 2008 This beer is a hidden gem when it comes to ’mid strength’ type beers. With an alcohol content of 2.9% it is a beer that gives you the buz without the hang over. If you like to mix and match your drinks a little but still want to drink a good beer in between with a low alcohol content this is the one, you wont even realise it is a light if you take the label off. The aroma is a nice hoppy one, very similar to a pilsner without that cordial factory made flavor.. it looks very nice in a pilsner glass. The price is reasonable at times availiable for $25 but generally up around $30 to $32 dollars a carton.
It is a great beer for a warmer climate and to drink at the afternoon BBQ without the worry of getting trashed too soon. I am in QLD and it is a shame I cannot find this on tap because I would love to see how it goes. i would far prefer to be offered this as a light beer at a local pub rather than XXX light, Cascade light, Fosters light or Hahn Premium light the list goes on... It tastes natural not factory manufactured as I mentioned earlier. It is also a very flexible beer, with a slice of lemon or a lime it is great on a hot evening. Even my wife who hates beer found it with a lime very nice.... Very under rated. mr_scotty (25), Australia Mar 7, 2008 i thought this was pretty good for a light beer... decent flavour at least. Not nearly as palattable as the premium lager, but a smiliar flavour at least. jkm (153), Australia Aug 31, 2007 Rather bland overall, as is to be expected for a light beer. Thin bodied and watery. Not great. Thylacine (179), Tasmania, Australia Jul 30, 2007 A rather boring beer as would be expected but as light beers go, it is at least drinkable.
