Bottle courtesy of mgumby10. Thanks, Mike! bu11zeye (5430), Frisco, Texas, USA Mar 15, 2008 (Bottle) Pours a dark brown body with a small tan head. Interesting aroma of hatch green chilies, freshly fried corn tortillas, light roastiness, cocoa, bubble gum, some pesticide, overly ripen citrus, and light tobacco. Flavor of roasted malt, vegetable (most green pepper), caramel, nuts, and dry cocoa. Mouthfeel and flavor is a bit on the thin side for an Imperial Stout. CaptainCougar (5379), Rockville, Maryland, USA Jun 10, 2008 Pours a mostly opaque with dark mahogany edges and a nicely-lacing dark tan head. Complex aroma of sweet toasty dark caramel and chocolate malts with nice dark fruity character. Body starts fairly full and silky smooth with a nice earthy dark malty flavor and good roasty smoky flavor before a slightly warming, drier dark chocolatey finish. A nice imperial stout.
