House beer for the Boat Inn, Lenton, Nottingham, England. According to the landlady brewed especially for the pub by an unnamed brewery in the WestMidlands. The actuall brewing location is (as usual) a "closely guarded secret".

Cask (handpump) at the Boat, Lenton, Nottingham on 14 July 2012. All I could extract from the landlady was that this is "specially made" (don’t they always say that?) for the pub by a mystery brewery in the West Midlands and the brewing location is a "closely guarded secret". I suspect it is a rebadge of Banks’s Bitter but I have no definitive proof. Amber / bronze colour. Thin white head. Sweetish. OK but wouldn’t be my first choice of quaffing ale.
