Golden. Nose is piney hops, slight roast and a touch of malt. Body is very hoppy with a little bit of sweet malt but not nearly enough to round off the unpleasant, long one-sided hoppiness.

The hops are definitely there but the thing is so dang sweet that the result is a confrontation in the trenches which neither side really wins, much like the Great War. Still, it does have big flavor, and the only real sustained head in the brewery, so it fares better than most BOB brews.
