Commercial Description:
Thirst quenching, not overly bitter, this Bohemian Lager is reminiscent of the straw to golden colored pilsners you would find in the Weserbergland of Niedersachsen, Germany. Utilizing German malted barley and hopped with three of the four Noble Hops: Hallertau, Tettnang and Saaz hops, this medium bodied beer is balanced all around at 5.0% abv OG 1.043 IBU:25

on tap-pours a white head and yellow color. Aroma is mild grain/light malt, grassy. Taset is grain/light malt, grassy.

Sample draft at the brewpub - Poured a bright golden amber in color with a medium bright white head that stuck around... surprising little lacing, however. Aroma was of grainy malts and mild hops. Flavor was not that strong, but the grainy malts dominated. Slightly bitter to finish. Pretty good...

Verre de dégustation, provenant d’un fût, au Vermont Brewers Festival 2009 (Burlington, VT). Arôme: Très légère odeur d’houblons. Apparence: La couleur est blonde pâle. Présence d’un mince col mousseux et d’une fine dentelle sur le verre. Saveur: Goût d’houblons avec une pointe de céréales. Durée moyenne de l’arrière goût. Palette: Le corps est moyen avec une texture légèrement huileuse. Moyenne effervescence en bouche. Présence de céréales en arrière goût. (Rating #2548)
