Tap @ Belgian Beer Fest 2011. Nose is clay, earthy yeast, a hint of balsamic & funk. Flavor is earthy & funky with noticeable alcohol. There is some floral & herbal character here. Brett twang comes out in the finish.

UPDATED: SEP 21, 2011 A cognac amber saison with no head. In aroma, a sharp corky Brett malt with off notes. In mouth, an intense sweet alcoholic sweet malt with intense Orval yeast, not bad, but unbalanced. On tap at Belgian Beer Fest, Sept 10 2011.

Pouring at the Night of the Funk in Boston. Pours a clear golden amber. Light brett, sweet wheat. Dry and musky. Light sourness, toast and a bit of acid. Dry brett on the finish.
