Dark brown pour head not substantial soft mild carbonation aromas dark fruit port flavours alcohol port yeast raisin candy sweet ale at the finish not much bitter a sour touch very average ale

330ml. Dark ruby with a slim tan foam. Aroma of soap, liquorice, Soreen and leathery, dark dried fruits. Warming alcohol off the bat; fizzing condition, rich dark malt suggesting rye bread and malt loaf; liquorice, almond essence. Finishes with warming alcohol, a Balzams-like bitter herbal tone and a fennel seed spiciness. Standard dark yeasty Belgian stuff, with a big ladle of spice. Decent.

Bottle at yespr. Clear orange brown coloured with a medium sized beige head. Sweet and fruity aroma of spices with notes of burnt sugar. Sweet and fruity flavour of caramel, spices, liquorice and burnt sugar. Sweet and spicy finish.

Bottle 33 cl. Courtesy of yespr. Pours an almost clear nutty brown with a beige head. Sweet nutty and fruity nose with friendly phenols trappist style. Solid body, quite some warming alcohol, overripe fruit notes, nuts and a little yeast. Warming alcohol in the finish. 260911

Bottled as Bobeline Black Label. A deep red beer with a tan head. The aroma has notes of caramel, alcohol, and dusty hops. The flavor is sweet with notes of caramel, spices, malt, yeast, and a bit of wood, leading to a dry spicy finish. The body is light. Thanks yespr for sharing.
