Creamy white long lasting head. Clear amber color liquid, with no sediment and almost transparent. Nose is sugary, traces of caramel, syrup. Medium body, low to average carbonation. Alcohol well masked. Tastes very yeasty, sweet, with bread, caramel, herbs, overall well balanced. Leaves a warm, sweet aftertaste.

33 cl. bottle shared by 2 @ the post-Borefts 2013 highway & parking lot micro shindig. Drank straight from the bottle. Procured from Willems. Great 19th century French advertisement label. Very sparkling, high carbonated, tasted pretty weird, spruce, very high spices, hay, plastic, extremely floral, artificial plastic, sweet cornflakes, bitter citrus, herbs, old white bread, touch booze, not that bad actually. Not very beer-like either.

750 ml bottle from Boissons Spa. Mild and smooth blonde ale. Nothing stands out, but it’s good all around delicious blonde ale. Mouthfeel is slick and creamy, with just enough of an aftertaste to make you come back for the next sip.

10/II/13 - 33cl bottle from Willems (Grobbendonk) @ home - BB: IV/13 (2013-154)

Clear blond to light orange beer, lots of chunks, some dark brownish very dirty looking chunks, fizzy aery white head, unstable, non adhesive. Aroma: fruity, some honey, orange peel, smells very oxidized, sweet. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: bit sourish, lemony, some orange peel, bitter touch, hint of sherry, very oxidized. Aftertaste: some orange peel, honey, little bitter, spicy. Despite drunk before the BB-date, it’s way too old and did not age well. And 8.5%, holy moly... it did not taste like that.
