Poured a golden yellow with a fizzy off-white head. Faint corn/grass aroma. Flavor is butter toffee and grassy noble hops. More hop flavor than other Russian lagers I’ve had.

Man kann grade noch so schmacken, das Hopfen verwendet wurde. Aber nicht viel, ähnelt der Geschmaak dem von Wasser doch sehr. Bochkarev Barreled: Bleib in Russland. Test vom 25.9.2004, Gebinde: Dose Noten: 8,6,7,4,6,7 - 6,45

This beer does have some properties of yeast and good carbonation, but the rest of taste falls flat with vegetal overtones. not really worth the time.

The aroma has some water, yeast, and cheap malt but thats about it. The appearance is milky pale gold with a two finger head. The flavor is watery with some malt and paper. The palate is very watery. Yet another Russian flop.

Bottle at Fort Wayne Tasting. White small head that mostly diminished, sparse lacing, minimal carbonation, transparent, and a pale yellow hue. Nose was malt, some corn and some breadiness. Flavor was some corn and metallic. Tingly mouthfeel. Light body. Not impressed with this brew. Nothing that will knock your socks off.

thedm (4124) - Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA - DEC 5, 2006
This bottled brew from a bottle shop poured a small sized head of frothy bubbles that were and left behind a semi-hazy softly carbonated yellow-white colored body and a poor lacing. The aroma was malty and mildly grassy. The mouth feel was weakly tingly at the start and at the finish. The flavor contained notes of malt and mildly grassy. An OK brew just nothing special.

From a bottle shared at thedm’s. Straw colored with fizzy white head. Light bready nose. Some biscuit and citrus, but mostly just thin and like every other imported Eastern European lager.

bottle at the fort wayne tasting - Pours yellow with a thin medium sized head. It has a light malt and grain aroma. It tastes mildly sweet with corn adjuncts and has a thin, watery mouthfeel. Fizzy and weak... did we really need to import another bad pale lager?

Sweetish corn, malt and corn starch aroma. Dirty yellow with a fluffy off white head that is somewhat lasting. Honey, corn starch flavors with steeped grains and almost no hops. Not at all as bad as eating glass or getting caned in Singapore. It does have a very nice mouthfeel for a pale lager.

Bottle. Light amber beer with a big white head. Light grainy/malt aroma. Sweet grainy flavor with light fruitiness. Blah. Easy to drink. Could have been much worse.
