1.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 4/20
A yellow beer with a fine head. The aroma is sweet malty with some sour notes - I believe the sourness comes from the use of brewing cereal - don't use it!!! I did not like this beer due to the sourness.

2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Man kann grade noch so schmacken, das Hopfen verwendet wurde. Aber nicht viel, ähnelt der Geschmaak dem von Wasser doch sehr. Bochkarev Barreled: Bleib in Russland.

2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Bottle. Light amber beer with a big white head. Light grainy/malt aroma. Sweet grainy flavor with light fruitiness. Blah. Easy to drink. Could have been much worse.

1 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 1/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 3/20
UPDATED: SEP 19, 2005 New 4.3% bottles (was 4.0% I think). Head is initially small, frothy, white, mostly diminishing. Body is hazy light yellow. Aroma is lightly malty (grain), trace hops (herbs), with notes of plastic and DMS, hint of apple. Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly bitter, lightly acidic. Finish is lightly sweet, lightly bitter, lightly acidic, unclean. Light to medium body, watery texture, fizzy carbonation. This is a "wow" beer...as in "wow, this is really bad." Very industrial/chemically smelling and tasting. Undrinkable.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Fresh, aromatic scent - not too much different from some industial cleaners popular here in the U.S. Translucent, light golden color, little to no head, what is there is snow white. Has a bit of a snappy, spicy flavor, with some dull malty accents on the back end. Pretty lifeless lager from Russia. Am I surprised? No. Stays strong throughout, not a drainpour, but not a recomendation to the uninhibited.

1.9 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
This bottled brew from a bottle shop poured a small sized head of frothy bubbles that were and left behind a semi-hazy softly carbonated yellow-white colored body and a poor lacing. The aroma was malty and mildly grassy. The mouth feel was weakly tingly at the start and at the finish. The flavor contained notes of malt and mildly grassy. An OK brew just nothing special.

1.9 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
(Bottled) Pale golden color with small, lacy head. Very mild, slightly grassy aroma - maybe even with a hint of asparagus. A typical, clean light beer flavor, but without corn or rice hints. Light-bodied, slightly sweet, medium-carbonated palate with a hint of metal. A very, very easily drinkable, clean and light lager - too light for my taste, but the overall quality seems ok. A Russian Budweiser?

1.6 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20
The aroma has some water, yeast, and cheap malt but thats about it. The appearance is milky pale gold with a two finger head. The flavor is watery with some malt and paper. The palate is very watery. Yet another Russian flop.
