August 2005: a new beer from Russia-based Heineken. Deep golden colour, strong sweet aroma, malty caramelly palate. Nothing special, as usual.

Drank this for the first time during my amazing trip to St Petersburg in a nice pub in the city centre. It is just an average refreshing beer. That’s all. Don’t try to find anything else with this beer, you won’t! Still, it’s pretty drinkable.

500ml Bottle - Golden in colour with a foamy head. Grassy and malty aroma with a twist of lemon and lime and a light honey element. Quite thin tasting with malt and a little bit of honey abd sweetness in the finish. Mild bitterness. Goes down easy for its strength but not much flavour.

Bottle. High fluffy lasting white head. Clear aamber body. Astonishingly weak aroma. I could smell some perfumed honey, that’s all. Flavor dominated by carbonation but also very mild sweet weak and honeylike. Short aftertaste.

Bottled (BB 01/2008)
Golden color, small white head. Wet paper and faint woody hops in the nose. Bready, a bit sweet, not very strong palate. Clean, but just too watery for being anything interesting.
