COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Is the Munich Black, a beer created in 1888 following the ancient Munich tradition. It is distinguished by its intense toasted flavour with a sligthly sweet final touch, an equilibrated beer without the excessive bitterness that other beers of its category have.

[bottle] Light brown body, small, fastly diminishing beige head. A moderate toasted malt aroma is the most interesting feature in this otherwise average, light-bodied dunkel.

250ml can Rich caramel malts, slight vinous sultana undertones; quite sweet. Moderate carbonation, sticky texture with a full body. Approachable and rich dark lager.

Can, bought in a small supermarket in Barcelona.
Pours a nice, clear ruby-red with a fine, frothy, off-white beige head. Fine lacings. Mild aroma, some fat caramel, softly roasted. Prickly carbonation, a tad thin. Flavour starts very sweet, lightly roasted. And a good, bitter chocolate and bready finish. Okay.

Canned from Barcelona. Musty malty, smoked aroma. No head, dark brown-red body. Taste quite ok for being spanish, up here in the north it probably tastes better than in hot Spain. Bitter finish, taste dark bread. Full mouthfeel.

Fizzy, very small light-brown iniial head. Virtually none lacing. Fully diminishing. Almost flat, thin and brownish-black body. Aroma: moderate roasted malt, strong coffee. IF: light sweet, acidic, bitter. Final flavor: light acidic and bitter. Long duration. Palate: light body, watery texture, fizzy carbonation and chalky finish.pouco gusto de café, muito menor que de suas pares, cerveja bem restrita, sem muito a oferecer; bem gaseificada, quase uma coca-cola alcoólica, sem o dulçor. 6s

Brought home from Costa Brava. Looks like cola. Clear brown with no head at all. Light caramel aroma. Toasted and burned flavor leaving a sleight bitter roasted finish. Never thought a dark peer could have so little taste

Can. A deep red beer with a tan head. The aroma is sweet matly with notes of caramel, while the flavor is sweet with notes of malt, caramel, metal, and alcohol. Thanks yespr for sharing.

smooth looking cream-tan colored head. deep amber color. smells kind of plain, like dry oatmeal, with a sugary sweetness. taste like creamy bark, with a dry, hoppy aftertaste. if looks were all that mattered, this beer would be better.
