COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Is the Munich Black, a beer created in 1888 following the ancient Munich tradition. It is distinguished by its intense toasted flavour with a sligthly sweet final touch, an equilibrated beer without the excessive bitterness that other beers of its category have.

Aroma is just a hint of sweet chocolat mixed with cola. Ruby/brown color, light brown head, large head, good lace. Not very strong flavors, some malts, light roasted, hint of coffee, sweet, bitterness in the very end, soft and a little warming. Is this a bock?

Ruby black with a thin tan head. Aroma is faint, but it’s roast, caramel and a bit of cherries. Taste s the same, and light but pleasant.

Mmmm, me like. Lagom avvägd sötma och även om det finns bättre mörkare öl kan jag mycket väl tänka mig att återvända till den här Bocken.

Bottle. Pillowy and bubbly light tan head; darker brown hue. Raisins, grapes, toffee and prune sweetness in the aroma. Slightly sweet, toffee and some light prune in the flavor. Matly but not overly so. Lighter body was a turn off with muted carbonation. Not bad.

27-APR-2011, bottle @terrace in Barcelona apartment, from local supermarket. Brown, clear, low beige head. Malty only slightly roasted. A little sweet, a hint of bitterness in the end. Bleh... ...but better than the regular Damm.

Bottle 25cl. A dark beer with medium to low head. Nose is malty. Aroma is dry, lager like, nice roasted malt body, apleasant and easy drinking beer. Aftertaste is bitter, lightly acid with a lager beer finish and dark malt, not bad.

Canned. Brownish coloured. Small light brown head. Sweet and caramelly aroma. Flavour of light roast, caramel and fruits. Thin bodied. Light roasted and sweet end. Quite bland and uninteresting beer.
