3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle. Dark brown body with a ruby hued and a small, off-white head. Nose is caramel, biscuits, bread, nuts and hints of chocolate and alcohol. Taste is roasted bread, caramel, nuts, and hints of chocolate and dry straw. Medium to full body, medium carbonation. Perhaps not the most complex of bocks, but very easy drinking and a well done execution of the style makes me think this is a rather underrated beer.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Small bottle of 250 ml at home, poured into a snifter.
Very nice dark mahogany colour with a thin line of beige head that disappears fast too.
Aroma is malty with dark fruits and some light chocolate.
Very sweet on the taste, with a hint of alcohol, although ABV is only 5,4%. A bit tart too, with a short finish of light bitterness.
Full on the body with average carbonation.
Overall quite nice beer.

1.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 4/20
Bottle at home. Pours a clear deep reddish brown colour with a beige sparkly beige head. Has a powerful malty and sweet aroma with leather, wood, chocolate, spices and lots of dried fruit. There must be something wrong with the flavour!. First I sence a good dose of dark malt, dried fruit and leather but the ending is weird and has a strange bitterness that is not very pleasant. Incredibly slick moutfeel, and a light to medium bitterness. The beer starts well with a good aroma but the rest can’t be right (Bad bottle?). Feels very unbalanced with its odd bitterness.

2.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 7/20
Not quite a strict bock in that the beer is a bit light on percent, but it is a nice malty dark lager. Strong toffee malts long finish with a hint of bitterness
