On tap. Dark-purple colour with off white head. Malt, caramel aroma. Malty-sweet taste, with light body and a little bitterness.

Appearance: Clear dark brown and subtle red color with a small off white head.
Aroma: A bit sweet dark malty.
Palate: Medium body. A bit sweet and an ok bitterness. Soft carbonation.
Taste: Rich dark malty, light fruity, hoppy and some spicy notes.
Overall impression: Nice fresh beer. But misses a little bit more punch to be something I will buy again.

Cerveza negra, con corona de espuma densa y color marrón claro. Sabor tostado, con fondo a café. Buen equilibrado dulce-amargo. Gas vivo al principio de la boca. Pero le falta sabor al final.

Pours clear dark amber with a off-white head. Aroma has notes of malt, caramel, bread and floral hops. Taste is medium sweet and light bitter. Body is medium, texture is thin to oily, carbonation is soft.

0.25l bottle. This is a clear deep dark red one with a medium sized light lacing off-white top. A bit sweet and dark caramel on the nose, red fruits also. Quite classic and not bad. A bit more unusual in the taste. It’s kinda watery I have to admit a bit dull. I get a reference to sweet warm lower water, even if it’s almost fridge-cold. Strange. Thin almost watery on the mouthfeel and it’s about average on the carbonation level. It has a sugary sweetness that reminds me of the taste you get after you have swallowed cola ice. No bitterness to mention. A cute little bottle, and it’s easier to drink than water, just wish it was a bit more bock in the beer. It probably works well in the Barcelona sun, but Norwegian winter devil demands a bit more of a bock. 07.02.2013

Medium beige head. Clear deep dark red body with light
carbonation. Sugary earthy toffee aroma with dried fruit notes.
Sweetish papery earthy taste. Mid-bodied. Mild, smooth
mouthfeel. Dry-sweetish sugary earthy aftertaste with papery
buttery notes. Well. Not much point to this one. Barely any
taste at all. (0.25l bottle, wine monopoly.)

Drunk it in a 25cc bottle in the airport. It’s a very suave dark beer and quite light. Light in density and light in flavour. Although I enjoyed the label and the pleasure I took from drinking it.

(25cl bottle) Pours a dark mahogany body with a small beige head. Aroma of raisins, plum, grapes, and caramel. Flavor of raisins, grape juice, caramel, light vanilla, some cola, and cocoa.

Bottle. Dark brown body with a ruby hued and a small, off-white head. Nose is caramel, biscuits, bread, nuts and hints of chocolate and alcohol. Taste is roasted bread, caramel, nuts, and hints of chocolate and dry straw. Medium to full body, medium carbonation. Perhaps not the most complex of bocks, but very easy drinking and a well done execution of the style makes me think this is a rather underrated beer.

Dark color, cupper glitters, small head which vanishes quickly. Aroma is malty with dark fruits. Very light, very easy to drink, but not very tasty. Decent.
