cellar (271), Dublin, Ireland Jul 3, 2008 Thx for a grand tasting, Chris_o :) clear brown, no head, notes of fruit, wood, berries, sour and sweet. omhper (10141), Stockholm, Sweden Jun 22, 2008 Bottled. Brownish ruby, creamy pale beige head. Vinegary cranberry aroma. Feels tart despite it’smalt sweetness. Buttery with rounded mouthfeel, refreshing acidity. Well balanced, but rather one-dimensional. gunnfryd (2662), Kristiansand, Norway Jun 15, 2008 Bottle @ Maria tasting. Amber colour with a beige head. Aroma is fruit, yeast, sour. Flavour is fruit, yeast, apple, sour. Medium body. OK beer. yngwie (3342), Kristiansand, Norway Jun 12, 2008 Bottle, shared by fonefan. A cute-looking beer, clear ruby body topped by a creamy beige head. Slightly vinegar-ish aroma, but there’s enough caramel and sweetness to avoid it being unpleasant. The same goes for the flavor, there’s enough caramel sweetness to cover up most of the sourness, even though it was of a more pleasant kind in the aroma. Medium body, quite fizzy and a bit astringent. A decent sour ale, but it left me a bit uncertain whether I enjoyed it or not. (080412) bhensonb (2730), Woodland, California, USA Jun 4, 2008 25 cl. bottle. Brown color with orange or garnet notes. Big tan head. Aroma seems to be cooking cherry. Medium body with fairly creamy carbonation. It’s a little tart; a little sour. It’s more cherry than anything, but not your sweet cherry. Finishes dry. Not as much fruit as some beers, but enough.
