| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Nov 18, 2009 Bottled. Aroma red fruits, red currants, hint of marzipan. Clear, dark red coloured beer with a lasting, medium, off-white head. The taste is sweet, sour, quite fruity (lots of red berries). Some sweet caramel maltiness in the back ground. Finishes more dry and sour. Just a little tart. Light bodied, moderate carbonation. Balance is just a bit off. harrisoni (6947), Ashford, Kent, England

Pours a pretty, redish black with a small, creamy, beige film head. Aroma has plums, raspberries, caramel and sweet roasted malts. Highish carbonation, somewhat underwhelming mouthfeel. Flavour is softly tart, some raisins and plums with soft roasted malts. Quite elegant, but not particularly interesting.
