Aroma is an interesting hoisin sauce sweet-and-sour. Taste is pretty much the same - a bit on the light side, but pleasant. Not bad.

(bottle, 25cl) Clear, reddish brown colour with a beige and dense medium-sized foamy head. Mildly sour and fruity aroma with delicately toasted malty notes and a tinge of leather and wood. Sour and slightly sweet flavour, light bodied with a soft carbonation. Berry-fruity and slightly vinegary taste with woody notes; mildly sour fruity and slightly tart finish with delicately woody notes. A decent Oud Bruin. 02.XI.10

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Clear rubyred to brownish beer, a small beige head. Smells like sweet-sour cherries. Tastes a fresh sour, mouthfeeling is a little flat, but only a little. Sour cherries in the aftertaste with just a little caramel. A very fine and refreshing Flemmish Brown Ale!

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Small vast off white foamy head.
Smell some malts, bit sour, hint of sweet (like bubble gum-ish), spices and hint of hops
Color is brown.
Taste is bit sour with a taste that rounds up and ends a bit sweet.
Taste hints of malts and spices, some hints of dark fruits. No sweet bubblegum taste!
Sourness is most significant, but also the hints of sweets and spices come in after a while.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottled. A rich blood red coloured beer with a whitish ring of bubbles. A lovely sour beer with cool fruits and funky acidity. Woody and tart with sour berries. Lip smacking. Sour beers are so good.

Pours a reddish brown color. Aromas of dark fruit, yeast, and a touch of wood. Flavor is tart, yeast, wood, not as sour as I would like. Kinda Blah.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle 25 cl. From Boissons Center in Montagny-sur-Yverdon (CH). Dark-red color, creamy and dense foam. Flavor slightly acid-sour of fruit, vinous, woody notes. The palate is a complex beer, no too acid, soft fruits, notes of raspberry-cherry. A beer with old, we guess the time and the patience to obtain such a nectar without acetic keys. Final thirst-quenching, vinous with key apple, cider.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle from Luton Beer Festival ’10. Muddy brown with an off white head. Aroma is sour and vinegary with some sweetness gradually developing. Same combination in the taste: a little restrained, but smooth and leathery. A little bitterness. Enjoyable if not exceptional.
