What more do you want in an affordable Flemish brown? Classic sweet balsamic aromas and flavors.. Balanced carbonation, tartness and clean, mouthwatering finish. Not ground breaking, though a classic example. Great for those new to the style. Very friendly. Recommended.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pours dark red with thin beige foam. Very sour nose with dried fruit, cherry and some earthiness. The flavor is a little more mild, but a good combination of sour notes with some woodiness. Thin body and finishes dry. The flavor was more delicate than I expected, bringing out the lambic aspect as much as the bruin.

Liked the mix of sweetness, bitterness and sourness in this one. Refreshing, but still classy.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 13/20
Super sour tart scent to it. Brownish red ale with little to no head. More sweet less tart sour ale with smooth dry finish. Full body with quick refreshing carbonation. Love sours but not as bitey and the carbonation doesn’t last as long as some sours I’ve had. Nice work!

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Sweet and sour fruity aroma with hints of red wine. Pours almost a root beer brown with ruby tinting. Medium light tan head that fades quickly. Tart cherry. Sour apple. Just a touch of fruit sweetness. Crisp. Tart on the finish. Nice.
