3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 Leighton (7183) - London, ENGLAND - MAR 30, 2013
Bottle at home in London - sourced from Dranken Geers in Belgium. Pours cloudy, matte gold with a big, frothy pure white head. Aroma carries lots of doughy white bread and some sweet-smelling citrus fruits, hints of coriander. Light sweet flavor with some dry, pale biscuity dough malts, creamy orange, mild bitter hay. Light bodied with average, lively carbonation. Clean finish, lightly sweet with more mellow bitter hay, bisuity and wheaty dough, some lightly dried citrus fruits, hints of spices. A very crisp, refreshing witbier. Love it.

Dość delikatne białe piwo, mało się wyczuwa przypraw, a kolendry jakby brak. Mętne ale trochę, piana solidna lecz błyskawicznie opada. Solidne za to ożeźwienie.

70c, 250ml bottle back home, 16/02/12. Lager gold with bright carbonation and a dense, rocky bloom of foam; lemon curd-translucent with the sediment in. Bramley apple and custard aroma with crisp coriander, chopped parsley notes; a passing horse-like undercurrent. Refreshing wit with sparkling condition, banana, white pepper and lemon sherbet notes and more finishing bitterness than is usual. Softening wheat afters. A very fine example.

20110616 at the brewery (25 cl bottle): A cloudy, light yellow beer with a good white head. The aroma is wheaty maltiness, with some coriander and citrus-like. The taste starts a little sweet with a small citrus-like sourness. Orange, some coriander, wheat. The finish is a little sweet with sourness. A lot later the bitterness apears. Reasonable Belgian White.

Decent wit beer, has a nice flavour and no detergent-adjuncts showing through. Seemed to have little head, average body.
3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 sayravai (4654) - Helsinki, FINLAND - SEP 18, 2010
(Bottled) Very hazy yellow with a medium, firm head. Lightly fruity nose with wheaty maltiness and a touch of orangey fruitiness and sourness. Flavor is lightly sour-wheaty with orange-lemony fruitiness and low bitterness. Light to medium body, quite foamy carbonation. Quite ok as a witbier (probably the hardest beer style for me to score). 4244
