250ml Bottle. This pours a very cloudy light golden body topped with a medium head that soon disperses into a thick lacing. Its aroma is coriander citrus with slight hints of malt and yeast. The taste is very minimal and hardly noticeable when drinking. A second sip gives some herbs, orange and malts but its really subtle but afterwards there’s a smoky sweet finish. This beer is for you if you like a light taste but there are lots more complex wit beers out there

12/IX/14 - 25cl bottle from Geers (Oostakker) @ home tasting with Sebletitje - BB: 2/V/15 (2014-986)

Little cloudy pale yellow beer, creamy irregular white head, unstable, dissipates quickly, non adheisve. Aroma: fruity, lots of coriander, bit sugary, some citrus, orange peel. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: some citrus, orange peel, pretty fruity, bit sweet, soft sourness, yeasty, coriander. Aftertaste: bit lemony, sour, fruity, little sweet, spices, yeast. Nice wit. No complaints. Surprised about the low score.

25cl - Decent enough traditional wit with notes of all benchmark tastes in place: citric wheat, orange peel, (dusty) coriander. Dishwater palate, could be smoother drinking with all tastes harmonically bound into a creamier mf.

Bottle at home in London - sourced from Dranken Geers in Belgium. Pours cloudy, matte gold with a big, frothy pure white head. Aroma carries lots of doughy white bread and some sweet-smelling citrus fruits, hints of coriander. Light sweet flavor with some dry, pale biscuity dough malts, creamy orange, mild bitter hay. Light bodied with average, lively carbonation. Clean finish, lightly sweet with more mellow bitter hay, bisuity and wheaty dough, some lightly dried citrus fruits, hints of spices. A very crisp, refreshing witbier. Love it.
