70c, 250ml bottle back home, 16/02/12. Lager gold with bright carbonation and a dense, rocky bloom of foam; lemon curd-translucent with the sediment in. Bramley apple and custard aroma with crisp coriander, chopped parsley notes; a passing horse-like undercurrent. Refreshing wit with sparkling condition, banana, white pepper and lemon sherbet notes and more finishing bitterness than is usual. Softening wheat afters. A very fine example.

Bottle, 25 cl. Blond hazy beer with nice medium white creamy head that lasts. Aroma of grains and wheat, some hops and citrus noticeable. Taste is grainy, wheat, citrus, with a light malty background. I didn’t expect it, but this is a fairly good Witbier.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 sayravai (4548) - Helsinki, FINLAND - SEP 18, 2010
(Bottled) Very hazy yellow with a medium, firm head. Lightly fruity nose with wheaty maltiness and a touch of orangey fruitiness and sourness. Flavor is lightly sour-wheaty with orange-lemony fruitiness and low bitterness. Light to medium body, quite foamy carbonation. Quite ok as a witbier (probably the hardest beer style for me to score). 4244

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 Ungstrup (23921) - Oamaru, NEW ZEALAND - APR 19, 2009
Bottled. A hazy light golden beer with a thin white head. The aroma is sweet with notes of malt and coriander, and so is the flavor, though added a light note of peaches, leading to a slightly dusty finish.
