Robe brune.

APPEARANCE is nice, really clear dark brown wit red reflects and a thin foam stays after the large bubbles vanished in 1’. AROMA is caramel, vanilla, nuts bubblegum, butterscotch, woody, leather, dough and liquorish, overall sweet but fresh smell. TASTE is sweet but not too much. Some slight bitterness but nothing dry. Nothing complex but balanced anyway. PALATE is nicely balanced too, not really dense but medium body and medium creamy, average carbonation, that come trough the palate nicely. Palate is long with strong dark fruits and woody cherry coming to the end of it. Bottle from BK in Teku glass.

Bottle. Pours hazy reddish brown with a medium tan head. Aroma of dark fruits, caramel, raisins, toffee and sweet malt. Flavor is moderat to heavy sweet and bitter. Medium bodied with light moderate carbonation, a slightly oily mouthfeel and alcohol warmth in the finish.

Drinking blind from a 33 cl bottle. In the aroma alcohol, chocolate, liquorice, spices, rosemary, iodine and red berry. The clear red brown beer has a large brown head. High carbonated.

330 ml bottle. Pours a mahogany color with moderate head. Aromas of dry caramel, anise, and powdery resin. Flavors are similar with addition light notes of Christmas-like spices. A nice food pairing beer.

Zwaar. Donker, prima schuim. Lekker zwaar, karamel, veel smaak. Droplucht. Mooie fles maar dat boeit niet zoveel

The taste is characterized by a subtle sour fruity note that accompanies the flavours of sweet caramel and roasted malt. It’s quite round but the body is too light for a beer of this category and the finish is sadly very short. A bit mainstream - a bit too mainstream even… But of good quality.

A flowery aroma with a touch of honey. A little bit of caramel in the taste, with a nice bitter start and ending.
