Light fruity aroma. A little bit sour but well balanced. A little bit sweet but fresh. Very easy to drink. Highly recommend. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

330 mL btle. Dark, deep mahogany in color w/ white head. Nose is outstanding w/ vibrant aromas of green apple, cherries, balsamic and a subtle hint of vanilla from the barrel. Everything on the nose follows through on the palate of this complex beer. The sourness is wonderfully balanced and is not sharp or acidic. Wonderful beer that shines with earthy cheeses or anything from the grill.

Pours a clear ruby color with a thin tan head. Aroma is fruity and tart with sour cherry and subtle oaky notes. Flavor has some cherry vanilla notes and some sour funkiness...a bit of caramely sweetness and oak towards the end. Mouthfeel is light and lively with a dry slightly oaky sour cherry finish.

Red-brown in color with an average sized off-white head. Aroma is of leather, raspberries, oak, must, funk, earth, and brown sugar. Taste is tart cherries, oak, leather, light funk, and berries.

Red in color, decent beige head, clear look. The smell is cherries, acidic, tart, fruits, and nice. The taste is good, tart, cherry, fruits, dry, and good.

11.2 oz bottle purchased at Lukas Liquors in Overland Park, Kansas. 02 is printed on the back label, not sure what that means. The pour is a slight haze ruby copper brown with a one inch light tan head that lasted nicely. The aroma is bright citrus and cherry sour. The fruit of black cherry shows through nicely as well. Also a hint of vanilla present. The taste tart black cherry sour, acetic, but not overly so. The lemon citrus comes out and the back, along with vanilla woodiness. The flavors all meld and layer nicely on each other. The palate has great soft carbonation, and the bright acidity and sour really shine in the long finish. This is a nice Flemish Sour.

Bottle picked up at SL.. Love the nose on this... lots of cherries, slight saw dust, wood notes, tart/sourness. Dark red in color, small head that faded quickly. Taste follows the nose... Nice tart/sour cherry taste, some dark fruits, wood notes, really lively! Lots of flavor for a low alcohol beer. Very complex. Body has a good amount of carbonation but still smooth. Overall: I forgot what I paid for this but it really doesnt matter, this was very enjoyable, the rita hayworth of redheads! Thanks to matt for the rec!

On tap at Congregation Ale House. Nice tart nose, cherries and light hops, balsamic sweetness and light oak. Dark coppery brown clearn with creamy off-white lacing head. Medium-heavy body with medium-high carbonation. Starts tangy and tart, with sweet and sour cherries, lactic-balsamic acidity and caramel, oak. Tart finish, light astringency with nice cherry pie after. Delicious.
