Pour is clear ruby red with little beige head and little lacing. Aroma is lots of tart cherries, light cranberries, oak, sourness. Taste has lots of cherries, a bit of grapes, sour, oak, light caramel. Low body and good carbonation. Nice one!

4.9 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 20/20
16 13 on the back of the bottle.
Appearance: The body is a perfectly clear ruby to garnet with a tall tan head that settles into a creamy full coating with a dense ring.
Aroma: Sour and tart cherries with hints of oak and upon swirling I can pick up sweet vanilla. Boy this smells amazing.
Taste: Whooaoaoaoaoaooaoasokasoks Holy fuck this is fucking amazing. The intro is very unassuming, hints of malts with a touch of vanilla. The mid-taste hits hard and very intense with a strong red wine vinegar and sour cherry. The first sip it’s really all I can discern. The second sip I find some vanilla underneath it. The finish hints at some cocoa, but lingers with a puckering red wine vinegar. Holy hell. This is wonderful.
Palate: Medium bodied with moderate to high carbonation.
Overall: I would have passed this up had it not been recommended just a week before. This is everything I’ve been wanting in this style. Puckering sour with layered complexity. Duchess was my favorite, but this is my new favorite.

3.9 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle. Pours mahogany / ruby with no head. Aroma is lactic, tart cherries, ripe fruit, a hint of vanilla and ... brown sugar? Shrug, if you say so nose. Big sweet stone fruit taste up front tempered by an even bigger acetic, face-puckering sour. Apples and cherries. Lasting tart finish. Whoa tart. Damn. Full body, slick texture, finely bubbled, prickly carbonation. Overall: excellent, if a bit extreme.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
UPDATED: AUG 20, 2013 Pours a clear amber with a nice offwhite head that leaves some patterns on the glass. Aroma is lacking a bit of refinement with bold lactic and wood notes. Taste is heavily sour and oaky. Flavors of green apple or some other sour fruits show up. It is refreshing with its "over the top" acidity and light bodied. Quite good but not meeting my (seemingly high) expectations,
Edit (2013-08-20): A second bottle was much more appreciated, not sure if it was my palate that was shot or if the bottle itself was problematic. Bumping this to 3.9 from 3.7. It seems a lot more approachable now. Still quite acid but it seems like it is more mellow than bold this time around.

Klar mørk brunrød farge. Smskeer veldig syrlig. Hint av kirsebær, sitron og eple. Veldig syrlig ettersmak som henger en god stund. Kansje i overkant syrlig.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Small bottle. Pours a very pretty deep ruby pour with off white head. Aroma of cherries, a hint of vanilla, light ascetic acid, woody. Taste is sour, fruity, lots of cherry, clean acidity without the muddy fruitiness beers like duchesse have for example. Very clean and refined. Easy drinking and quite tasty.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
0,33 l bottle ordered from Vinmonopolet Nettbutikk. Pours a beautiful clear burgundy brown body, under dense, quikly fading tanned head. Mild vinegar fruity nose. Fresh acidic red berry-accented flavor. Notes of cherries and vanilla. A distinct underlying sweetness. Smooth in the mouth. Light funky acidic-sweet berry finish. Quite sweet, yet a very fresh and highly drinkable Flemish Red.
