Bottle. Pours dark red with a very small off-white head. Sour aroma of tart citrus/cherries, leather, earth and wood. Great earthy tart flavor with notes of cherry, wood and funk. Smooth but tart finish. A great sour.

4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Great lambic that pours a deep reddish tan with not much head. Nose is very much of cherry. Taste is cherry with a tinge of vanilla, just playing the line between sour and overwhelming. The taste was great, although the palate let off and the sour became a bit much at the end.

4.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
One of my favorite beers at PIB ’12. Gorgeous dark red pour and red head, sour cherry and currant notes dominated, with a hint of vanilla. Starts sour without puckering and eases out.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
11.2 oz into small tasting glass
A- Deep amber, fine head that fades fast.
S- Smells sour I guess? My palate is not very refined when it comes to sours so that’s the best I can do.
T- Sweet and sour seem fairly well balanced. Again, my palate is not refined enough to enjoy this, so I can’t say much more.
M- Fairly thick, low carbonation.
O- Sours are not my thing. As sours go, this is one of the better I have had, so I don’t want to rate it poorly.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Sour cherry aroma. Flavor starts sweet, with a very sour, acidic finish. This isn’t my favorite style, but this is still a great beer.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Brownish red colored pour. Nary a head and no lacing to be found anywhere. Acetic, sour fruit notes in the nose. Very tart bite up front. Nice sourness mixed with a slightly fruity note. Not bad. Would drink again.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Deep red color with a large head that quickly faded. Aroma is a mix of sour, vanilla/oak, and cherry. Taste is a very pleasant tart that seems more inviting then any other sour I've had. Finishes dry that welcomes another sip.

A great beer for the girl in you life that swears she doesn’t drink beer. Sweet, tart cherry flavor with a lasting delicious finish. No added fruit is masking this excellent sour, the gateway for all things delicious.
