COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
OMER. traditional blond is made of excellent summer malted barley from the Loire region (France) and pure water. During the brewing process sugars are liberated that will serve later to nourish the yeast. During the cooking process 3 varieties of hops from Germany, Slovenia and the Czech Republic are added to give the beer the specific aroma and bitterness

Heerlijk blond bier met een stevig karakter. Kleurt donkerblond, frisse smaak die in de mond een vol aroma achterlaat

An average blond beer, malty but a bit at the thin side. Another Belgian strong blond without distinct taste.

Bockor’s attack on Duvel since 2008, named after the founder of the brewery and a commercial success since then. Thick, snow white, stable head, clear golden blonde robe with lively sparkling. Aroma of green apple, iron, grass, field flowers, unripe peach, white cabbage; grainy onset with strong carbo, lightly sweet, light pale maltiness, smooth, bit metallic, finishing in gently bitter grassy hops but less long than I expected. One of the better Duvel offspring, but still doesn’t beat the real thing, in my view.

Clear blond color with a nice persistent frothy head. Aroma of bread, honey, a bit floral. Taste is first a bit sweet then more bitter in the finish, with a strong carbonation. The alcohol aftertaste is a bit annoying, but it remains a decent blond beer.

Sabor marcante e levemente adocicado e leve amargor. Corpo atraente e vibrante. Boa escolha!

An overall average Hef. Pours an ugly clear yellow with a white head. Smells not great, lots of lemon and grapefruit. Taste has a lot of wheat, with some lemon and cherry tomatoes in the finish. Had in the bottle.

Bottle: Poured a hazy yellow to orange with a huge two and half finger creamy white head. Aroma is musty fruit. Taste is veggie, fruit and metallic hops.

Pours a slightly cloudy blond colour with good carbonation. Dry, bitter, and yeasty aroma. Nice sweet/bitter hoppy taste, some fruity notes there, bit of sour tangyness going down. Smooth thin/medium bodied texture, goes down smooth.

330 ml bottle. Clear golden body with a big, stable, creamy white head. Aroma is mild, light fruity and spicy with hint of white sugar. Flavor is sweet pale malt, some fruit, spicy, yeast and white sugar, not much bitterness. Medium body and moderate in aftertaste. Decent for a Blonde, relatively tasty with surprisingly grayed alcohol, I.E. the alcohol is present in the flavor but not really boozy. This one felt right for me today.
