COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
OMER. traditional blond is made of excellent summer malted barley from the Loire region (France) and pure water. During the brewing process sugars are liberated that will serve later to nourish the yeast. During the cooking process 3 varieties of hops from Germany, Slovenia and the Czech Republic are added to give the beer the specific aroma and bitterness

I was not expecting much from this one. The aroma wasn't too promising. Hits the palette with a slippery smooth blonde, alcohol well hidden. I will get this again. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

340 mL bottle. Golden blonde pour, light hazy. Finger of white fizzy head that swiftly turns into a thin cap. Citrus grain aroma. Taste has some pine hops at the end. Very effervescent. Made fine, overall very average.

Wow. A one of a kind beer. One of the best I’ve tasted in recent years. A nice dark bite, beautiful color and delightful aroma.

From 330 ml bottle. Pours a hazy straw-gold with a sudsy white head and visible floaties. Aromas of orange juice, honey, grass, flowers and a hint of banana. Taste starts off with baked apple and orange zest before a peppery, grassy hop note powers through. Floral notes, lemon and more orange come through toward the end. Pleasant apple and lemon aftertaste. Like this a lot.

330 ml bottle into tulip glass, no bottle dating. Pours cloudy bright orange color with a 1 finger fairly dense off white head with good retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings around the glass, with a good amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Aromas of lemon, pear, apple, light banana, pepper, honey, bread, herbal, floral, grass, and yeast earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance and complexity of fruity/spicy yeast and moderate pale/bready malt sweetness; with solid strength. Taste of big lemon, pear, apple, light banana, pepper, honey, bread, herbal, floral, grass, and yeast earthiness. Good amount of yeast spiciness on the finish; with lingering notes of lemon, pear, apple, light banana, pepper, honey, bread, and herbal/yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Very nice robustness and complexity of fruity/spicy yeast and moderate pale/bready malt sweetness; with a great malt/yeast balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Medium-high carbonation and medium bodied; with a very smooth, fairly crisp, and slightly creamy/bready mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is very well hidden with minimal warming present after the finish. Overall this is a very nice Belgian strong pale ale. All around good balance, complexity, and robustness of fruity/spicy yeast and moderate pale malt sweetness; and very smooth and crisp to drink for the ABV. A very enjoyable offering.

Tasted 17/3/15 at Ieper, Belgium. BB 10 02 17. Poured a clouded honey colour with a one- to two-finger white foamy head that retained well but laced poorly. Carbonation nil. Aroma slightly of lemon/citrus. Taste slightly sweet, slightly tart and with slight malt characters. Light body. Smooth, dry, subtle tartness. Quite nice.
