OMER. traditional blond is made of excellent summer malted barley from the Loire region (France) and pure water. During the brewing process sugars are liberated that will serve later to nourish the yeast. During the cooking process 3 varieties of hops from Germany, Slovenia and the Czech Republic are added to give the beer the specific aroma and bitterness

Bit cloudy, amber colored, strong white puffy head, good lacing. Aroma is malt, some brewing sugar, fruits, bit of spice, herbal and spicy hops. Taste is medium- sweet malt, Belgian sugar, yeast, some caramel, fruity, low+ herbal and spicy bitterness, some alcohol. Medium bodied, average to strong carbonation.

Very nice on nose. Beautiful colour and clean taste and aroma. White excellent top. Medium bitterness, full body, long and fresh finish. Another proof positive that Belgian beers are not probably, bat really one of the best in the world.

330ml bottle from Beerhawk. Big soft pillowy head lasts brilliantly, nice little lacing. Clear golden body. Not much on the nose, a bit caramel, some booze. Flavour is all malt, shows its strength, finish is toffee and burnt marmalade. Crisp mouthfeel, light carbonation. Full body, some bite. The strength comes through a bit too much for me.

Beautiful golde blond one with a thick white head. Touches and smells of apple, citrus. Nice bitter which lasts long and combines with a small touch of sweetness. Very drinkable

Well-carbonated, slightly cloudy, smooth blonde ale. A little bitterness there but it's subtle. All in all satisfying and a good example of this style. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Een redelijk zwaar bier, traag te drinken en ervan genieten. Diepe smaak en goede schuimkraag.

Very nice golden yellow body, numbers of fine bubbles, fine and dense foam, creamy and lacy. Very pleasant aroma, delicate and exciting; agrums, flowers, fruits, grass. Beginning with a metallic, astringent taste though very pleasant - and banana maybe? hint of honey; fine bitterness, dry finish.

Hefig-süßlicher Geruch. Antrunk süß, Früchte. Mitte herb-süßlich. Abgang Trockenfrüchte, süß, bitter. Gut. Was für Albrecht Dürer.

33cl bottle@Crowne Plaza Brussels in Omer glass@approx 7 degrees C. Pours clear yellow with a large white head which quickly dissipates leaving a decent lacing. Aroma of malt, grass and hops with a little caramel for sweetness and a twang of yeast. Very well balanced beer with fine hops notes being balanced by the malt and with a pleasant rather than domineering sweetness. Definitely as a beer should be in my taste by if I had to chose, I would prefer a Duvel in this category.
